Taking the GPP quiz could be one of the most powerful things you do to help make your dreams come true.
Many of you believe there is only one set path for goal setting. Not true. There are different ways depending on your personality type. This quiz will help you to discover and learn more about your personality, and maybe even give you a fresh, new insight to your life.
Here’s why you should learn your GPP:
- Different personality types are motivated in different ways. When you know your Goal-Path-Personality and where you find your motivation, you know the exact methods for achieving goals.
- There are 16 personality types, which means there is a 1 in 16 chance that you are following the right goal setting strategy for your New Years resolutions. When you know your personality, you know the right goal setting process.
Are you… INFJ, ESTP, ENFJ, ISFP or one of the other 16 types? Not sure? Find out with the quiz!
The answer above will give you new clues on how to set goals and New Year resolutions.
Important Note:
After taking the quiz, download the guide (in pdf format) that I put together for you to learn more about your personality type that you’ve just unveiled. And as a bonus there is an awesome goal setting exercise at the end – something you won’t want to miss!
Share with us what you found out! Were you at all surprised? Did you really resonate with the results and the description of your personality type? Leave a comment, or share with us on the Silva Method Facebook fan page.

I found out more about myself than I knew.
very accurate , even after some doubts answering 2 questions
I just started exploring my personality type more in depth a few days ago. Perfect timing. Thank you.
I did get stuck at points where I may have chosen another option, midway, if it had been available. So to say that this accurately or very nearly describes my personality type, would be wrong, but yes, it is very close. I did learn something about myself! Thanks…..and a very happy New Year!
When you take test of this nature you must answere the question truthfully. Pick the one answer that is truly you not the way you wish you were. Then you can safely say it is correct.
I've taking this test a couple of times when it first came out and I was split right down the middle between ENFP & ENTP. My brain and heart fight a lot so it makes sense to me. This time I came up ENFP which I'm probably a bit more than ENTP. So you can be close to two personalities.
I am self-employed and as an fashion designrt / artist I have to create and have other companies do the manufacturing. I have daily selftalk before I start to create.
This was fun, made me think on some questions.
The Myers Briggs typology is very good, but lacks important information about how about the levels of health the each of us experience sometime daily. One example of the alternative that I am writing about is the enneagram. I hope all of you will check it out.
Hi Mark, I found MB really helpful and then doing the enneagram was amazing in developing further my undestanding of self and my reactions, Ali
I like the survey.
It made me think more deeply about myself.
The .pdf is a dead link for me though. I could not access it.
The quiz is very interesting, although I did got stuck on some of them but I do my best to answer them as honest as I can. I'm not completely surprise that I'm INFP. I'm in the middle of agreeing and disagreeing but what the heck it is a quiz.
Can't wait to try out the exercise
Thanks and have a Happy New Year!
I'm like so many of the personality types at any given time!
Depends on what I'm focusing on at the time.
The test aims for preferred mode – I'm more results focused.
If I need to be more extroverted, sensing, judging and feeling I will be!
Also, I know I'm naturally introverted, but I get a tremendous release of energy and productivity when I switch modes.
Yes, balance is fantastic. Awareness of this perspective helps with self management and reflection. Thank you!
ENTP : Me too, I did get stuck at maybe at 3 or 4 points, most of the things are precise but I don't get bored with routines as I work involves repeated activities.
I was not too surprised by the personality type this assessment had for me. However, I have always hated doing goal setting exercises, even though I have always been taught that a goal not written is just a wish. Throughout my life, many of these "wishes" have been fulfilled. I quit doing new years resolutions years ago and it has worked just fine for me. This fits my personality type to a T.
Surprisingly accurate and helpful to my ongoing process…Peace & Blessings to you!
There are a few questions where I prefer both the options, depending on the situation then. farrokh
Which questions are you referring to?
I have tried several times and the pdf NEVER opens.
Help!
That was really cool,I really wanted to choose both answer for a couple of those questions.I tell you now that is something for me to grasp.
Awesome exercise… Thank you
That was fun and enlightening. Thanks.
This is great ! My answer fit me like a glove. Thank you for giving me this option to know a little more about me.
Rivka
it says I'm an intp, every other test says I'm an intj. pretty sure I'm a J.
I know i am an ENFP or sometimes i test as an INFP which is just the introverted form of ENFP and this test has nothing whatsoever to do with Silva but is from the Meyers Briggs Personality Test that came out about 100 years ago and i repeat has nothing to do with Silva anything.
That being said and knowing i am an ENFP or an INFP what does it matter other than an ENFP or an INFP is the most spiritual and most mystical of all the 16 personalitiy types and the most rare of personality types.
I dont see that this helps at all in discovering how to meet my goals. I walk around in a perpetual alpha trance and never achieve much of anything. Not interested in making money only in making people happy through happy hypnosis at http://www.happyhypnosos.org . Happiness to all!!!
Veery accurate! thnx!!
I enjoyed this test. It was right on for me, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to be offered an insight to myself.
Never has anything been so spot on. I truly appreciate you Laura and the folks doing good work with the Silva Method. After taking the quiz, I feel more empowered knowing that what I thought of myself was always true.
Take care, and God Bless.
I have taken the full MB test many times over the years and have always been an ENTP. This quiz shows me as ENTJ…maybe you might add a few more questions for this helpful tool….Thanks for posting!
I too was stuck at points where I may have chosen another option but for the most part it was a close assessment and will agree that it’s not a 100% accurate. Never the less I have a fun taking the quiz.
interesting, I've taken the MBTI before and I've always come out as an INTJ but this has me as an INTP. And i scored a 0 on J! Maybe it's because the ones I have done before were longer?
Thank-you
Thank-you that was a fun exercise.
Can you put a human being in a box? isn't that judgemental? Doesn't it lock the person down into an archetype, that in the end is why we work with EFT, to get rid of the archetype? to get results in LOA – this is only questions, and should be considered as such, I know that I vibrational right now attracts what I dont wish in my life, but I also know that I am working towards getting rid of my blocks, and resistances to my goals! To me life is ever-changing, nothing is stationary, however persistent it might be, I can and I will in time overcome, whatever I choose to throw at myself!
That was great
Thank-you it sure made me think on what I want
Thanksssssssssssssss.
esfp
No surprise at all- don't see how knowing what I am makes a difference to achieving my goals
Thank you for sanding me this test it was a funny and interesting experience.
I found resoles of test pretty much accurate. You defined me like ENFJ and I
recognize very much of my behaving and thinking in it. For sure it was very helpful
for me to understand some important thing about my personality.
I wish you great success in your work and very happy New Year
I enjoy the quiz to answer was inspiring i choose the first answer that come in my mind:
This is not some innovative "Goal Path Personality Quiz" designed by Jose Silva. It's a handful of questions from the standard Meyers-Briggs test that was being administered as part of standard psychological testing, and in classrooms 30 years ago. Schools used to administer it to kids and then give the kids a list of careers that their personality types were supposed to be suited for. It's considered an outmoded approach these days. Haven't see one in years!
am doing this for the first time
I did this test before and was an ENFP….taking this short test reconfirms that I truly am a ENFP!!
