I’m 100% serious about this!!! In this great video from Silva instructor,  Vishen Lakhiani, learn how daily rituals are the path to mastery.

Vishen exlpains that all it takes is 5 minutes of daily mind tuning to fine tune your life. And when you stick to it every single day, you’ll see amazing results, so never give up!

It’s all explained in this super fun video. (I would also like to apologize for the excessive use of the Ipad, we can’t seem to tear Vishen away from it!!!).

I have to admit, sometimes I fall out of habit with my rituals. But this video has got me fired up to get back into my routine and stick to it.

What about you? What are you going to do everyday on your path to mastery?  Let me know your plan of action in the comments below!

Better and Better,

Laura

PS. I shouldn’t be sharing this just yet. But just to let you know we have some exciting plans for this summer. More details on Monday!

This makes more sense to me than anything else I've heard in a long time and certainly explains some of the mental frustrations I've been experiencing. Thanks for sharing! better and better

I understand what Vishen is saying about commiting andand quiting while in the plateau phase. Approximately 5 to 6 weeks ago, I was at a point where I could feel I was at a point of jumping to the next "step". Since I felt great, I became distrated because I though I had reached a mximum level (wonder what would have happened if I had stayed the course; hmm). I will bump it up a notch, and become more blissipline. THank you for the "words" and visuals.

I never thought about equating skipping my shower (to take care of my physical needs) with skipping the important five minutes (to take care of my spiritual and mental needs) keeping me in tune with my vision. It’s a powerful idea. I’m so used to thinking that it’s normal to be feeling stress or anger or any other negative feeling that gets in the way of me expressing who I really am that I hold on to those thoughts as part of “who I am at the moment.” But that’s not who I am, but merely what I’m thinking.
I also liked Vishen’s discussion of why we skip out on our spiritual well being. It’s because it’s not usual to see constant and gradual improvement. The way we actually improve is though a series of plateaus followed by a gain…a new level of mastery…followed by another plateau…starting the step sequence all over again. What a great way to visualize. And speaking of visualizing, how about that I-Pad?
Thanks, Vishen, for reminding me to keep on keeping on.

    Hi Vishen,

I really enjoyed your video. Starting today, I am spending a little time meditating, to get rid of some of those negative feeling. Being positive is the way to go.

Yes VISHEN, All of words you have said is true to me. I did experienced it. inpact for what i am doing right now, I saw it duing my dreams that was two in half years ago. And one things i am disturb right now was that, i saw the plane falling and ship sinking. there is a number appeared 2 and 4. For all i knew now i can't anyhow tell to other peaple around me. My personal experienced with all the products i purchased, IT HAVE IT ALL. I even more intuitive I experienced lots of things that is beyond my belief last time. Now all i can say is Just do it. Only ourselves will tell and felt the riality if we really do it with the real believe that is somethings out there.

    thanks

Thanks Vishen once again. I love your videos. They are short simple messages that reinforce the fact that we can all do this and it doesn't take living in a cave or hours a day… Thanks again!

I always think I need to spend at least 20 minutes twice daily in meditation, and since my schedule doesn't allow this much time expenditure, I don't do it at all. I think I can find 5 minutes twice daily – and that would make a profound difference in my mental and emotional health. Thanks for the do-able, simple reinforcement.

automagically. I love it. I also get the idea that if I can take 5 minutes (or in my case, 10-15 minutes) to shower to care for my physical body in the morning, and 5 minutes to brush my teeth and set aside my vitamins for the next day, I surely can find 5 minutes twice a day to care for my mental/spiritual body. I did a good job of keeping up with the PhilosophersNotes for the 50 day challenge and then lost it as I struggled to find which .pdfs had videos to watch along with them; which ones I had already watched pulled out of which ones I had left to go. I lost track and have yet to get back to the other 50. The ones I stayed with (with the help of the daily emails to send me to the website) were helpful, full of hope and inspiration and added to my spiritual and cognitive growth. In the meantime, I have accepted the next 4 months of Silva, which I have also done some work with and then stopped. Perhaps 4 months will get me to integrate it rather than stop it when the time is done again.

I saw myself in that description of too-early abandonment, and feel really inspired by the encouragement given to keep moving forward. Thanks for the real "words of wisdom" — I, for one, will certainly be putting them into practice from this day forward!

    Blessings to all.

Wow Vishen! I never realized that you were young! I have followed your story & many of your outstanding telephone interviews throughout the past 4 or 5 years, and I was always under the impression that you were a lot older … because you seem to have a great level of WISDOM, and I also know that you accomplished so much in your life already (i.e. with your online business). YOU ARE PERHAPS THE "WISEST" YOUNG MAN THAT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still in shock, lol.

    Signed,

    Charles from Canada

thanks Vishen, i am new to Silva System, but have already identified many of the concepts that are already innate to me. Oh, and thanks for the light-bright monster, that was very edifying.
