Hi friends!

How do you usually start your day?  What’s your routine like, and does it work for you?

Up until a few years ago, I would run a marathon every three weeks, now I run about 6 to 10 km a day. Add this on top of running Silva International and being a loving wife and mother, its no secret that I need to have an endless supply of energy.

For me, it’s very important to stick to a certain routine to maintain my health and stamina.

Watch the video to see what my typical day looks like  and then check out my very own energy drink recipe that I make and enjoy every single morning.

How To Make My Favorite Energy Drink

1. A cup of strawberries

2. Half a cup of mixed berries

3. Some watermelon

4. A few lettuce leaves

5. A handful of spirulina

Place the strawberries, berries, watermelon, lettuce leaves and spirulina in a blender. Cover the blender and blend on high speed until fruit is pureed. Add ice cubes, if you like your smoothies a bit colder. Cover the blender, and blend on high speed until ice is finely chopped.

And that’s it!

I hope you enjoy the energy drink as much as I do! Better and better,

Laura

P.S. I am curious to know if you have any health or routine secrets that keep you energized through the day! Let me know in the comments below.

Laura, I consider myself a rather energetic guy, but I wish I had the energy you have, and I’m a couple of decades younger than you :)
You’re always an inspiration to all of us. Thanks for sharing with us how you start and get through your day!

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for sharing how you begin your morning. My routine is similar to yours. I am a lark I love the early morning so I always mediate (I listen to one of the silva tapes to guide me) then I pray and thank the creator for all of my blessing. Then I have my morning coffee (which I love and will not give up) I have a work out routine which I do three or four times a week for about 45 minutes (weights and cardio)I always eat a healthy breakfast, then its off to the office. One of these mornings I'll give your power drink a try.

    Thanks,

    Gail

    Hi Laura

Don’t mean to be a bubble-burster, but, health-wise, in classic food combining (ayurvedic, Tibetan medicine, etc.), greens and vegetables should never be combined with fruit. Melon should never be combined with other foods (even other melons), and the first liquid in the morning should be warm or even hot, no cooler than room temperature. Cold drinks shock the stomach and liver and contribute to digestive complications. The Chinese, Ayurvedic and other healing systems have proven much of this. Inappropriate food combining leads to indigestion, toxicity, weight gain and general ill-health.

Chronic problems in my own system turned right around when i discovered food-combining!

Mona Vie!!! It keeps me energized with more focus and has removed my aches and pains. Add 2 OZ of this 2 times a day to your energy drink for an amazing super boost benefit! For more info, go to Brighart.com or monavie.com. (115916 if you want to purchase). When you do the research, you will find there is nothing that comes close to it’s benefits.

    Laura,
Just wonderful advice! And we can see how great it works! I always wanted to know the little secrets that keeps everthing in tune for you all. Here we learnt a good many! Thanks.

I would just like to share that before I go to sleep, I let go of all the stuck up sensations, feelings and struggles left over from the day and surrender everything to the Almighty, express gratitude to Him for the day, and program that the next day works out harmoniously for all around and do a few casework for others and go to sleep.

And by His Will, things are getting better and better! Have a great life, everyone!

I agree with Ra about cold drinks and foods Vs. Warm and Hot. But combining fruits and vegitables or different kind of fruits together must be ok. Too much of details/arguments lead no where, atleast having a healthy drink once or twice a day is better than not having anything right ?

This is all wonderful information, I love to read everyone’s secrets to a more happier, healthier, love filled life!
For myself, first and foremost, I recognize and am eternally grateful that God is and always will be providing for me.
Secondly, I take an amazing unique supplement that is a glutathione accelerator. When glutathione (which is our master antioxidant)levels drop, chronic illness and disease creep in. This supplement is sold only face to face, no drugstores. Order here essentiallymax.com
I wish great health for everyone!

    Hi Laura,

I am a health nut and for years have use many energy therapies as well as supplelments and a healthy diet. The most fun and effective way I have found to energize is eating several pieces of healthy chocolate daily. Not only do I have more energy but I have experienced many health benefits which can be expected from cold pressed cacao – the number one superantioxidant. Soon there will be a truly healthy energy drink also certified that will have longer energy ups without the crashes. Seriously, can it get any better than this?
