In a previous post, Your Favorite Silva Method Technique I mentioned that I’ve never had problems falling asleep… That’s thanks to the Silva Methods Sleep Control Technique. I wanted to share a little more about the sleep control technique with you so that you too can experience great sleep all the time.
The Sleep Control Technique
This Technique is great for falling asleep at anytime or when traveling to different time zones and it is especially great for falling asleep without the use of drugs or sleep aids. The Sleep Control technique will also helps to improve your visualization and imagination.
Start by entering the basic plane level with the Silva Method’s 3-1 count down. Once at level one, visualize a big black chalkboard and imagine imagine yourself standing next to the chalkboard with chalk in one hand and an eraser in the other. After you do that follow these simple steps:
- Mentally draw a large circle on the chalkboard. Then, also mentally,draw a big X within the circle. Proceed to erase the X from within the circle, starting at the center and erasing towards the inner edges of the circle, being careful not to erase the circle in the least.
- Once you erase the X from within the circle, to the right and outside of the circle write the word “deeper.” Every time you write the word “deeper,” you will enter a deeper level of mind, in the direction of normal, natural, healthy physiologic sleep.
- Then write a big number 100 within the circle. Proceed to erase the number 100 being careful not to erase the circle. Once the number 100 is erased, to the right and outside of the circle go over the word “deeper.” Every time you go over the word “deeper,” you enter a deeper, healthier level within, going in the direction of normal, natural, healthy, physiologic sleep.
- You will continue doing this 99…98…97 on a descending scale until you enter normal, natural, healthy, physiological sleep.
Remember, it is important to remember to trace over the word deeper every time to erase a number completely.
